Unveiling Their Own Secret Identities

bkk UNZINE features the talents of artists from Children of the Forest 

For this year’s upcoming BKK Comics Art Festival #4 (details here) bkk UNZINE is proud to partner with Children of the Forest (COF), a school and children's home in Sangkhlaburi near the Thai-Myanmar border helping improve the lives of stateless and migrant children and families. We were especially impressed with the imagination and artistic abilities on display by the children in response to our May 2025 theme, “Alter Ego.”

We will be announcing further collaborations with COF as we head into finalizing details for the festival and thank COF for graciously working with us to make this year’s event possible. For more information on the important work they do, please visit their website at childrenoftheforest.org

For their contributions to this month’s theme, students aged 8 to 18 years old were asked to think about and then draw what kind of secret or alternative identity they feel like they have or would want to have.
