Randy Valiente is an award-winning Filipino comic book writer and artist. He published numerous books for both Philippine and international publications, including Lindol (Ted21), Animen (Black Ink), Headlocked (Markosia), Twilight Zone (Dynamite), Vampirella, Army of Darkness and many more.

Mixed Media Artist
Rei Egusquiza is an artist living in Brooklyn, New York. His work in collage/mixed media is influenced by queer themes, suggestions and characters in literature, mythology and history and how they impact his upbringing and the world we live in. He is hoping to make his next move to Bangkok, a city he has grown to love more and more with each visit.

Boris Aravindabalan, aka “Sketchman Boris,” is the founder of bkk UNZINE art magazine. Growing up in India, Boris discovered his love for drawing and, combined with hours and hours of cartoons and movies, he realized that not only did he just love reading and watching stories, but he also wanted to have the same impact on others as the creators whose work he enjoyed had on him.

Songwit’s work consists of drawings with pens, pencils and coloring with colored pencils or digital coloring and focuses on small details and portraying images with interesting angles. The intention is for audiences to feel fun and enjoyment, not only from the message of the work but also from the creative process.

From St. Petersburg, Sophie considers her job is to teach, her background was to cure and her love throughout the years has been drawing! Back home, where she participated in many exhibitions, Sophie founded a course of live sketches, believing that drawing live models is an unstoppable well of inspiration. Now she is exploring the rich Thai art scene, meeting new gorgeous people and trying to go to every art event she sees!

Painter
Stefan is from Brasov, Romania and has a B.A in Art and Restoration from the State University of Sibiu, Romania. He works with both painting and sculpture and his surreal paintings explore society’s transformation from the past to the present, culling inspiration from decaying objects, old photographs, pop culture, and art history to present a critical view of various social, political and cultural issues. He has had an artist residency at GloArt in Belgium and has exhibited in the US and Europe.

Stéphane Peray was born in 1964 in Paris, and has lived in Thailand since 1989. He was a photojournalist before starting to work as a political cartoonist in 1998. He has since been published in more 60 newspapers around the world and was the resident cartoonist forThailand’s english newspaper The Nation from 2003 to 2019. Stéphane now works for Prachatai English, a dissident online news outlet. In 2020, he self-published Farang Affairs, a collection of cartoons and comic strips focusing on culture shock between Thais and foreigners living in Thailand.

Skye is a tattoo artist and illustrator from Bangkok. She is a girl of the sea, swimming in the stout sometimes, and mostly uses sign pen, acrylic paint, watercolours and coloured pencils to create her artwork, which tell stories about culture, food and people, and specifically about punk, soft eroticism, and feelings.

Sushant wants to bring art to the living spaces of all walks of people. After the successful completion of film studies at Prague Film School, Sushant practised fine art photography, painting, drawing and theatre. He is inspired by light and is committed to build his lifelong series called “Following Light.” He experiments with colours, compositions, textures and patterns using pencils, acrylics and gouache on paper, wood, glass, ceramics and canvas.
