AARON SCHMIDT

Comic Artist

Aaron Schmidt has worked in the field of animation, TV, film and art for over 2 decades, including multiple award-winning films and music videos such as Tod Polson’s “Prodigal” and “Escape of the Gingerbread Man,” Thai singer Petch Osathanugrah’s music video “Fill Me,” and Bryan Ott’s “The Glow.” In the last decade Aaron has turned toward more traditional art forms. He has worked as a freelance illustrator for tabletop games and has been working on multiple graphic novels using traditional pen and ink.

Alexandra is currently pursuing a five year Bachelors of Architecture degree at Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 2025. Architecture is a way of storytelling and understanding the place is something she has been interested in. Painter, Educator

Amy Diener is a New York artist and art teacher currently living in Bangkok. She specializes in vibrant mandala dot paintings inspired by colors and patterns from her travel encounters. She has had a long history of battling OCD and uses art as a coping mechanism to relieve anxiety. She paints only dots in her artwork because she finds the creative process to be very meditative. Amy’s goal is to bring awareness to and destigmatize mental health through art. She has exhibited her works worldwide including in New York, Thailand, Dubai, Singapore, and Germany and has been featured in noteworthy publications such as The Bangkok Post and landed on the front cover of Wanderlust: Expat Life and Style Magazine.

Originally from Vietnam, Andrey is a self-taught art lover who is lucky to be able to do a bit of drawing. He has never officially been to art school, but played around with pencil, charcoal and watercolor before settling down with digital painting. Angela Pagano is an artist from Naples, currently based between Tokyo and Bangkok. Her journey through diverse cultures has shaped her artistic exploration, drawing inspiration from human behavior and the ongoing dialogue between East and West. Movement, transformation, identity, and symbolism are at the core of her work. Angela plays with paper, plaster, glue, acrylics, clay, charcoal, and all kind of objects and tools. Originally working with physical materials, Angela is now shifting her focus toward video and photography, experimenting and deconstructing narratives.

Brandon has been living in Bangkok since the start of 2022 with his partner Donna. They brought with them from the U.S. their two cats and their love of adventure. Carla Visser, a graduate of Stellenbosch University in South Africa, primarily creates detailed line drawings with traditional dip pens, brush pens, glas dip pens and fine liners. She predominantly works in achromatic tones but will occasionally dabble here and there with small splashes of color. She believes that well-exectuted black-and-white drawings can effectively substitute for color, evoke emotions and tell a story.

Christian initiated his art studies at Universitaet der Kuenste and Art Academy – Weissensee, both in his home city Berlin. Later, instead of accepting a good opportunity to continue his studies in London, he chose instead the conservative fields of academia and professional occupations. Regrettably, this decision diverted him from his true passion – art & design – but luckily only briefly. He has since done furniture design, illustrations for various purposes, graphic novels, but is currently focussing on paintings.

A graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a BFA in Entertainment Art and Animation, Claire Chang is a background and prop designer. In 2023, she completed a 5-month production internship at Nickelodeon. As a young girl, she loved to draw and watch Disney movies, and that passion for colors and art followed her all the way to adulthood. She aspires to design backgrounds and props that highlight overlooked cultures, particularly their beauty and human qualities. She is also passionate about traveling and learning about different cultures.
