Anabelle Laureola is a Filipino cartoonist and multimedia artist whose artistic journey so far has led her through the wonderful worlds of autobio comics, a comic book adaptation of a Philippine folktale and experimentations with fibercrafts.
Excerpt from Sun Says, Moon Says, a finalist pick for this year’s inaugural Monsoon Awards.
Anabelle will be a part of the Monsoon Awards Panel on Sunday, 18 October.
Sun and Moon were sent by the Great Gods to bring light to the world of humans. When their child wonders why they are hardly home at the same time, they decide to share their story in this cozy retelling of the origin story of night and day, set in a world inspired by Philippine folklore and pre-colonial Philippines.
Don’t miss our convention weekends 10-11 & 17-18 October!
